    This place is a great hole in the wall. They sell charcoal grilled chicken and steak. The steak is fresh and the chicken has a secret red rub that taste delicious. Reasonably priced, $10 for a steak plate and $8 for a chicken plate. The downside is that the store is small. Don't plan on eating in during the lunch rush. Get it to go! The lobby also gets packed during lunch, because there's a lot of people waiting. They only take cash and I think checks. Who the heck carries cash or checks? Anyways the hassle is worth it. It's delicious.

    Absolutely terrible. Treats their customers like they’re begging for service. Never going ever again as the “manager” (as what she says over the phone) decides to treat their customers like garbage. I came with high hopes seeing the numerous good reviews, but after being treated like that it’s almost flabbergasting to know the staff would treat a paying a customer in such way. Not only that they put almost all ice in my beverage, and even charge 75 cents for refills. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

    My review is overdue. I have been a customer of El Pollo Supremo for over a decade. I have no complaint about the food quality or taste. However, I stopped going to the shop for several years after one of the cashiers made a racial stereotypical comment. After returning, in hopes perhaps she was no longer there , or not serving, I experienced another terrible incident with a small cockroach in my bag of food,. I believe it was intentional because of the earlier comment, and because of how and what was said when the bag was given to me, that "this one is especially for you". I have always been friendly, never rude, pushy, my orders are simple. No matter, the cashier has no reason to treat me in this manner. A cockroach ends this relationship. I will be contacting the health department .

    TIP: * cash ONLY (bring cash, no ATM inside, but one next door) * Combo ¼lb beef + ¼lb chicken is the best * Call ahead to get takeout LIKES: * Food taste AMAZING * Friendly staff * Clean + cozy family restaurant * Mesquite grilled chicken + tri-tip * Each meal comes with: pinto beans, tortillas, salsa, pickled onions * Good price for amount of food you get (~$10 per meal). Each meal will easily make an adult full. DISLIKES: * Cash only (no CC points earned, which sucks) * Limited menu * Only 1 type of salsa * Lunch time is crazy busy (again, call ahead to get takeout) * Limited seating area

    Went with my friend and it was my first time. I enjoyed the chicken very much. I will definitely be going back
